Youth Advocate Programs delivers and advocates for community-based alternatives to residential care and incarceration, creating positive change for youth, families, and communities. Chavez-Silva's nomination is a testament to her and the Colleges success in implementing collective impact principles for long-term systems change. The nomination team specifically highlighted Chavez-Silva's expertise in this area as a benefit to the organization.
I look forward to beginning this work with Youth Advocate Programs.
